A Look Back
Cornerstone finished the season ranked 24th in NAIA DII but fell in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference semifinals to No. 16 Siena Heights. However, the Golden Eagles were able to grab the ninth at-large bid boosting them to the tournament. The 23rd annual NAIA DII Women's Basketball Championship will be the ninth appearance for Cornerstone. The Golden Eagles are 9-8 overall in the tournament highlighted by their deep run in 2002 finishing as national runner-up. This will be head coach Katie Mattera's first year appearance in Sioux City.
