(Grand Rapids, Mich.) The women's volleyball team moved into fourth place in the WHAC with a 3-1 win over the host Davenport Panthers. The win positioned CU a half game ahead of Davenport and one game behind third place Aquinas. Cornerstone won the first two games 27-25, 25-19 before losing the third game 24-26. CU responded with a 25-19 win in the fourth game improve to 12-12 overall and 4-3 in the WHAC.
Four players posted double figures in kills with Alicia TerHaar leading the team with 17 kills. Katie McKee followed with 14, Becky Albrecht added 13 and Jodi Grandholm posted 10. Holly Cousins had a game high 17 digs and Marcie Blacquiere finished with 52 assists and 13 digs. CU hit .292 for the match to DU's .222.
Cornerstone travels to Iowa to participate in the Clarke University tournament this weekend before hosting #25 Indiana Tech on Tuesday at 7pm.
