After both teams coughed the ball over, Lourdes held the possession with thirty seconds remaining. Gray Wolf, Elvin Butler, tied the game after capitalizing on one of two free throws with 28 seconds left. Golden Eagle, Wes Hudson, had the chance to be the hero with four seconds remaining but was unable to connect on his shot as the teams went into overtime.
During overtime, Cornerstone played strong jumping out to a five point advantage half way through extra minutes.
