Cornerstone travelled over to Ann Arbor to take on Concordia today for their 9th WHAC contest of the year. The Cardinals ran out to a 10-4 lead over the first six minutes of the game but the Golden Eagles responded with an 11-4 run over their own capped off with an Emma Lockhart 3-pointer to give Cornerstone a 15-14 lead with 6:06 left in the half. The Cardinals went on a run of their own to finish the half up 26-18. The two teams played even over the first 5:49 of the second half and scoring 9 points each but then the Golden Eagles went cold and the Cardinals got hot. Concordia pushed the lead to double digits (37-27) with 13:51 remaining and they would keep that double digit lead for the remainder of the game. The Golden Eagles were forced to foul down the stretch and the Cardinals kept making them pay at the foul line. Tanner Hostetler led Cornerstone with 15 points. Jill Hendrickson had 8 points and 10 rebounds.
