Cornerstone University and head baseball coach David Mitroff are pleased to announce the signing of Adam Harvey, a catcher from Antioch, Ill. Adam hit .298 with an on-base percentage of .454 his junior season. He also represented Team Illinois in the Midwest Classic and Midwest Future Games.
When asked about his decision to attend Cornerstone, Adam said, "I chose to play for Cornerstone University because it is a program that honors the Lord and plays for Him. Not only do I get to play the sport I love, but I get to be educated with others that have the same faith. The team honors God with the sport, but the whole university honors God too and you can feel it when you are around campus."
Cornerstone baseball coach David Mitroff said, "We are pleased to sign Adam Harvey and excited to see what he can do behind the plate for us over the next four years. He provides immediate depth at an impact position and has the defensive ability to play right away. We expect him to be an excellent addition to our program and to the Cornerstone campus."
