The Golden Eagles made the long trip down to Lima, Ohio to take on University of Northwestern Ohio today and they are coming home with a 4-0 loss. The Racers got things started off well scoring on a bicycle kick in the 14th minute of play to take a 1-0 lead. They added to that lead just eight minutes later on a goal off of a corner kick. The Racers out shot the Golden Eagles 7-2 in the first half of play. University of Northwestern Ohio started the second half quickly as well scoring a goal in the 49th minute to go up 3-0. They finished of the scoring in the 82nd minute to go up 4-0 and they would finish the game with that score. The Racers out shot the Golden Eagles 9-3 in the second half of play and 16-5 for the game. Cornerstone drops to 7-4 overall and 3-2 in the WHAC. The Golden Eagles will return to action on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. when they take on Madonna University. The women will play Lawrence Tech at 4:00 prior to the men's game.
