(Fresno, Calif.) After playing three teams in the top 30 the Golden Eagles were able to regroup and defeat Westminster College 3-0 (25-20, 25-22, 28-26) and give first year coach Ryan Campbell his first career collegiate win. Three Golden Eagles were in double figures for kills with Becky Albrecht leading the way for the fourth match in a row with 14 kills. Holly Cousins finished with 11 followed by Alicia Tartar's 10. Kayla Wilson finished with a team high 20 digs and Marcie Blacquiere moved to win 4 assists of Sarah Haney's (Zichterman) career assist record with 40 assists for the match. Becky Albrecht was named to the seven member All-Tournament team. Cornerstone will take on Westmont College on Tuesday, September 1.
