(Grand Rapids, Mich.) The Cornerstone Women's Cross Country team matched their sixth place finish from 2012 at the 2013 Knight Invitational hosted by Calvin College. On cool sunny morning at the Gainey Athletic Complex, the Golden Eagles topped seventh ranked Aquinas in a close, early season WHAC match-up.
Junior, Julie Oosterhouse led the team with her third place finish in a new personal best time of 18:01. Sophomore, Audrey Tremaine and freshman, Cathy Coryell worked well together with Tremaine finishing 31st in 18:57 and Coryell just behind in 19:02 for 38th.

Her first cross country meet in two years completed her comeback as she ran just eight seconds off her personal best, clocking 19:33 to finish 71st. Leah Shepherd ran a collegiate best 19:40 to complete the team scoring, finishing 78th.
