The Cornerstone Women's Soccer Team will be hosting University of Saint Francis on Saturday night at 7:00 p.m. in their "Night of Nets" game for 2013. "Night of Nets was started by Chip Huber (Dean of Spiritual Engagement at Cornerstone) a few years back and it has grown tremendously over the years. We raised about $3000.00 the first year we did it and we raised over $22,000.00 last year between the Men's and Women's Soccer teams and the Volleyball team. University of Saint Francis will also be participating with their women's soccer team. Calvin and Hope have various teams involved as well. The suggested donation for the game is $6 which is the cost to buy one bed net. Bed nets have helped reduced the incidence of Malaria in Africa. Spread by the bite of mosquitoes, malaria is one of the world's deadliest predators, killing more than 750,000 children under age of 5 every year and costing Africa's economy more than $12 billion in productivity. Come out and watch the game and support a great cause at the same time. Click here for more information.
