(Kansas City, Mo.) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics
(NAIA) has announced that a total of 340 women's soccer student-athletes have
been named 2009 Daktronics-NAIA Women's Soccer Scholar-Athletes.
Nominated by each institution's head coach, a student-athlete must maintain a
minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and have achieved junior
academic status to qualify.
Three Golden Eagles (Breana Brendsel) - Senior Defender from
Big Fork, MT, (Christina McAllister) - JuniorMidfielder
from Grand Haven, MI,and (Rebecca Reese) - Senior
Defender from Lansing, MI were all name Scholar-Athletes by the NAIA.
