Kevin and Kyle Doornbos recently decided to further their education at Cornerstone University and play basketball as well.  The twins will follow in the footsteps of their brother Alan who played soccer at CU from 2080-10.  The twins prepped at nearby South Christian High School.

Both three-sport athletes, Kevin and Kyle were All-Conference, All-Regional and All-State players on SCHS State Championship soccer team last fall.  Kyle was named 1st Team All-State and Kevin earned 3rd Team All-State honors for the champion Sailors. They both served as captains on the team.

The Doornbos brothers also played basketball this past winter and led their team to a 12-10 record and a second place finish in the OK Gold Conference.  They scored 8 PPG and 4 PPG respectively.  The two guards also led their team in steals and assists this past season.

Kevin and Kyle are currently playing baseball at South Christian.

"We're excited that Kevin and Kyle have chosen to come to Cornerstone University.  They're quality young men and are a great fit for our university and basketball program," says Coach Kim Elders
