GAME FLOW

Madonna scored a quick basket off the opening tip but Kayleigh Hammond would respond to tie it at 19:35.  The Crusaders made a 3-pointer at 19:15 and Katelyn Cousins responded with a 3 to tie it at 18:57 but the Golden Eagles would end up chasing the rest of the night.  The Crusaders would outscore Cornerstone 18-7 over the next 12 minutes to take a 23-12 lead with 7:11 left in the half.  Madonna would push the lead to as much as 19 points (37-28 with 2:15) and (43-24 with: 03).  The Golden Eagles made a 14-6 run to start the second half to cut the lead to 49-38 with 12:42 left in the game.  The Crusaders responded quickly and pushed the lead to 20 (61-41) with 7:22 on the clock.  The Golden Eagles struggled from the field down the stretch only scoring 4 points over the last 8 ½ minutes of play and ended the game losing 69-43.
