(Fort Wayne, Ind.) The men's golf team got off to a great start this season finishing 2nd at the St. Francis Invitational August 31-September 1. Chet Vandenberg finished 2nd overall scoring 69-74=143 for the tournament. Ben Vanbiesbrouck finished fourth scoring 74-72=146. Indiana Wesleyan won the tournament with a 592 (292-300) and CU finished second by 2 strokes with a 594 (296-298). Davenport came in third (596) and Marian finished fourth (598) out of aeleven team field. Josh Mick finished tied for 7th (76-72=148); Ryan Zwier came in at 19th (76-76=152) along with Marcus Brussee (75-77=152) and Alex Lanning finished 25th (77-76=153).
