This would put the Golden Eagles ahead of the Gray Wolves for the rest of the first half, as well as the remainder of the game. Jill Hendrickson gave Cornerstone their biggest lead of the first half (36-23) with 1:47 left in the half. The Golden Eagles took that 13 point lead into the locker room at halftime. Cornerstone took their largest lead of the game (40-23) at 16:32 on a shot by Jill Hendrickson. Lauren Tilden of Lourdes cut Cornerstone's lead to 9 (55-46) on a 3-point shot with 1:27 left in the game. Kathy DeYoung and Katelyn Cousins made 4 free throws a piece in the final 1:07 to seal the win for the Golden Eagles. The Golden Eagles' lead was never fewer than 9 in the second half.
