The Golden Eagles didn't start to well today but they finished well defeating Lawrence Tech 6-2.  Cornerstone went down 1-0 just seven minutes into the game on a Blue Devil free kick.  Isaac Grotenhuis pulled the Golden Eagles even at 1-1 in the 30^th minute by finishing a pass from Brian Nimmo.    Cornerstone went ahead two minutes later when Jake Stanko took a ball from Diego Bobadilla and hit a shot off the left post and into the goal.  Cornerstone out shot Lawrence Tech 18-4 in the first half of play but only had a 2-1 lead to show for it.  The Golden Eagles continue to dominate in the Trevor Hunt.  The Blue Devils made the most of their shots in the second half scoring on their only shot in the 68^th minute to bring the score to 3-2.  Jake Stanko increased the lead to 4-2 just five minutes later on an unassisted goal.  Isaac Grotenhuis made his hat trick in the 75^th minute scoring on a breakaway from a Regan Billings through ball.  Tristan Esprit finished off the scoring in the 77^th minute after receiving a pass from Isaac Grotenhuis to give the Golden Eagles a 6-2 WHAC win.  Cornerstone improves to 10-3-1 overall and 7-1 in the WHAC.  The men will host Davenport in a huge WHAC game on Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
