The Golden Eagles had a beautiful night for their "Night of Nets" game with Grace Bible and they came away with a 4-0 victory.  Cornerstone created a lot of chances but they couldn't find the back of the net in the first half of play.  Cornerstone had 18 shots but the Tigers GK Kerie Rudd was up to the task making 9 saves to keep the Golden Eagles from scoring.  Cornerstone turned up the pressure in the second half getting single goals from Morgan Vance, Amanada Van Laar, Maile Carigon, and Kerri Hoffman for the victory.  Teigan Mitcham and Kerri Hoffman picked up assists on the last two goals.  Cornerstone had 33 shots in the second half of play.  The Golden Eagles improve to 8-1 on the season and will now begin WHAC play next week.  They travel down to Fort Wayne to take on 8-2 Indiana Tech in their WHAC opener.  The game brought in another $3000.00 to go toward buying 500 more bed nets to send to Africa next summer.  Thanks to all those that contributed to the cause.
