Golden Eagles - Mon, Jul. 30, 2012

The NAIA Scholar-Team is a prestigious honor that is awarded to teams that have a minimum 3.0 grade point average for all NAIA schools eligible across the country. The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) saw 30 teams earn this respected award. Along with Cornerstone, Indiana Tech, Madonna, Davenport, and Siena Heights all had teams receiving this honor.

The Cornerstone Golden Eagle Women's Basketball, Women's Cross Country, and Women's Track & Field were three of the 30 teams in the WHAC Conference selected for the honor. The Basketball team held a 3.57; Track & Field held a 3.22; and the Cross Country held a 3.18 grade point average. All these teams worked hard not only athletically but also academically. Congratulations to all the women for all their hard work.
