Cornerstone University and head baseball coach David Mitroff are pleased to announce the signing of Aaron Adams, a center fielder from Hill McCloy High School in Montrose, MI. Aaron, who possesses great speed, was a three year varsity starter for the Rams. Aaron hit .294 his senior year with 25 stolen bases.
When asked of his decision to attend Cornerstone University, Aaron said, "I chose Cornerstone because of the academics and to get closer to Christ. Baseball is just a blessing that I am able to play while attending Cornerstone. I hope to earn my spot as the starting centerfielder, work my way to a degree in Exercise Science, and get closer to Christ.
According to head baseball coach David Mitroff, "Aaron is a gamer and he plays the game the right way. We believe that he fills a major area of need for us with his ability to run, handle the bat, and go get the ball as an outfielder. After working out on campus with some of our players this spring, we are excited that Aaron decided he wanted to be a part of our program."
