Cornerstone University and head baseball coach David Mitroff are pleased to announce the signing of Kyle Marburger, a right-hand pitcher from Peru, Indiana. Kyle was named "Pitcher of the Year" for his high school and has a 2.75 earned run average and 77 strikeouts between his high school and legion seasons combined. At 6'4", Kyle projects well and is expected to have an immediate impact on the Golden Eagle pitching staff.

When asked about his choice to attend Cornerstone University, Kyle said, "Right when I walked on campus it felt right. I have visited many colleges and none of them but Cornerstone felt right. My hopes and expectations are to grow spiritually and academically at Cornerstone University, and I hope I am a major contributor in the success of Cornerstone baseball.

Baseball coach David Mitroff said, "We are excited to sign Kyle Marburger. As a quality arm, he adds more depth to our pitching staff and we believe he can compete for the role of a starting pitcher right away. Kyle comes from a solid Christian family and he will fit in perfectly here at Cornerstone University. As he fills out his frame and develops, Kyle has the chance to be a special player here."
