(Louisville, Ky.) Billed as the largest cross country meet in the Southern United States, the CU Women's Cross Country team took part in the Greater Louisville Classic in Louisville, KY.

Running in the Gold division, the first of two collegiate events then followed by several high school races, the Golden Eagles took 30^th out of 35 teams.

Despite crowded conditions as nearly 300 runners squeezed through the narrow in the opening mile, Andi Ripley clocked 18:47 for 73^rd place. She was followed by Nicki Erler in 19:29 / 135^th, Melissa Sawicki 20:02 / 189^th, Janelle Lindman 20:05 / 193^rd, Audry Yonge 20:38 / 230^th, Julia Contreras 21:01 / 252^nd and Sunny DeJong 22:48 / 282^nd.
