(Maywood, Ill.) Cornerstone race walkers took four of the top seven spots at the USATF Illinois 5,000m on the Track held near Chicago.

Cody Risch won by over one minute. His winning time of 21:40.0 was new personal best and made him the NAIA leader in the event.

Nate Vanderwall placed fourth in 24:33.0. Tyler Steigenga (24:46.0), in sixth and Isaac Withrow in seventh (24:50), each set new bests. All three were under the NAIA provisional qualifying standard.
