Alex has been a 4 year varsity player, where she has started as a shortstop (freshman), catcher (sophomore) and 2^nd baseman in her junior year where her team clinched the league and district title. Named All League and All County, and this year's team captain, playing shortstop and batting 4^th in the lineup, "she will be relied on heavily to direct the team defensively as she is one of the best players at 5 different positions" says High School Coach, Dave McIntyre. Alex has also been a 3 year starting varsity basketball player.

Making the All Academic Team each year, and a member of the National Honor Society, Alex carries a 3.8 GPA and plans to major in Biology with post graduate plans of podiatry.

When asked why she chose Cornerstone, she said, "When I was looking at different schools, I knew I wanted to go somewhere where I felt at home. The first time I saw the campus, I immediately fell in love. I was given a warm welcome from the administrative staff, students, team and Coaches. Having the opportunity to continue my athletic and academic career here at Cornerstone alongside the Christian environment is what I have wanted since the beginning."
