Game 1
Senior Karlee Despres pitched a two hit shutout to lead the Panthers of Davenport to a 2-0 win over Cornerstone in the first game of their WHAC double header today. Jenna Weightman and Madison Bucilla are the only Golden Eagles that got hits in the first game. Heidi Warmelink pitched a five hitter of her own and gave up just two runs in the loss.

Game 2
The Golden Eagles found it even harder in the second game against Sam Cole. Cole threw a complete game 1-hit shutout against Cornerstone. The Panthers scored two runs in the first inning and then added one in each of third, fourth, and fifth innings. Lauren Pasciak collected the only hit for Cornerstone.

The Golden Eagles will return to action on Friday when they host Concordia in another WHAC double header.
