The men's golf team won the Furniture City Classic in 2011 but they were unable to defend their title.Calvin College took over the title winning the 36 hole Classic with a score of 624.The Knights had the best score after 18 with a 304 and followed the second 18 the 320.Cornerstone finished 3rd out of 5 teams after entering the second round of 18 tied with Davenport with a team score of 317.The Panthers shot 309 in the second round while the Golden Eagles shot 314 to finish 626 and 631 respectively.
Ben Kuiper from Calvin College was the overall champion shooting 2 over par (69-77) for a 146. Ben Vanbiesbrouck was the top Golden Eagle and WHAC performer shooting 9 over par (76-77) for a 153 to finish 3rd on the day. Zach Mick (83-75=158), Kevin Yee (78-81=159) and Casey Vanderberg (80-81=161) also finished in the top 10. Michael Clark scored a 169 (84-85) as an individual and finished tied for 27th while Chris Wisen shot a 176 (89-87) to finish 31st.
