Women's Indoor Track & Field - Wed, Feb. 29, 2012
Fourteen athletes will compete in 19 events at the NAIA women's indoor national championships.  The athletes and their events are as follows:  Liz Baller (relays), Kaylee Carew (relays), Julia Contreras (relays), Brittany Green (long jump), Larissa Hampton (400m, relays), Erin Laplander (relays), Monica Lawrence (racewalk), Lindsay Lipa (Pentathlon, long jump), Jill Louisignau (3,000m, relays), Julie Oosterhouse (600m, relays), Anita Souza (60H, relays), Lauren Pierce (relays), Sydney Tremaine (relays), Audry Yonge (relays). 

Day One of competition is complete in Geneva, Ohio and Lindsay Lipa garnered All-American honors in the Pentathlon with a score of 3,101.  Lipa achieved one P.R. on the night which was her 800m with a time of 2:24.87.  Lipa finished 8th overall and became the first CU woman pentathlete to achieve All American honors as a freshman. 

The distance medley relay team advanced to the finals for the 2nd time ever in school history.
