Cornerstone University and head baseball coach David Mitroff are pleased to announce the signing of Seth Ritsema, a middle infielder, from Calvin Christian High School in Grandville, Mich. Seth hit .382 with an on-base-percentage of .520 and scored 31 runs this year. He was named 2nd Team All-State for his performance this season.

When asked about choosing Cornerstone University Seth said, "I chose to attend Cornerstone because I had an awesome opportunity to play college baseball, and also stay close to home. Another reason I chose the University is because it allows me to excel in the business field while being surrounded by other Christian believers."

Coach David Mitroff said, "We are excited to add Seth Ritsema to our program. We believe he can make an impact early on in his time here with his defense and his ability to handle the bat. Seth comes from a great program and his leadership ability will be an asset on campus."
