The Golden Eagles shot 50% including 6 of 15 from long range in the first half and limited the Cardinals to just 34.4% shooting from the floor.


The Golden Eagles made a 10-2 run over the first five minute of the game and they would lead throughout the remainder of the contest.  Concordia would respond over the next five minutes to cut the lead to five points at 23-18 with 10:08 on the clock.  The Golden Eagles would run off a 17-5 run over the next three minutes for their largest lead of the half (40-23).  Concordia outscored Cornerstone 5-2 over the last two minutes to go into the lockerroom down 42-28.  Cornerstone came out hot in the second half out scoring Concordia 12-6 over the first 3 ½ minutes of play to take their largest lead (54-34) of the game.  Concordia did make a game of it by outscoring the Golden Eagles 28-11 over the next 11 ½ minutes to cut the lead to 65-62 but Cornerstone righted the ship to finish the game with an 84-72 win over Concordia.  Cornerstone improves to 12-8 in the WHAC and 18-10 overall


Cornerstone will return home to play Indiana Tech in their last regular season home game on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
