The Golden Eagles limited the Blue Devils to just 23.3% shooting in the second half of play.


The Gtay Wolves John Osantowski made the second free throw of a pair to put Lawrence Tech up 1-0 at 19:16 but that would turn out to be their only lead of the night as Cornerstone went on to defeat LT 69-45.  Cornerstone outscored Lawrence Tech 12-5 over the next seven minutes to take a 12-6 lead with 12:02 on the clock.  The Blue Devils cut the lead to 16-13 with 8:37 and would keep the lead within single digits until Luke Morrison sank a 2-point shot at 6:01 to give CU a 28-18 lead.  Wes Hudson made a 3-pointer with .20 seconds left in the half to give Cornerstone a 37-25 lead at the half.  Cornerstone would maintain a double digit lead for all of the second half and would gradually increase the lead throughout the period as they easily defeated the Blue Devils by 24 to improve to 9-7 in the WHAC.


The Golden Eagles will return home to play Madonna on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
