The Golden Eagles traveled down to Fort Wayne to take on a very good team in 10-2 (2-0 WHAC) indiana Tech tonight.  Cornerstone started well with a couple of good chances but Tech responded by finishing off two chances both in the 12th minute of play.  The Warriors had about a 10-15 minute stretch at that point where they put the Golden Eagles under a lot of pressure.  Cornerstone did settle down and brought the score back to 2-1 right before the half when Morgan Vance was taken down in the box and Amanda Van Laar converted the penalty.  Cornerstone came out strong in the second half and had some good chances to equalize but never converted and the the Warriors converted on a counter attack to make it 3-1 around the 60th minute of play.  Cornerstone pulled a defender and played with three up from trying to get back in the game and the Warriors made the Golden Eagles pay with another counter attack goal to finish off the game.  Cornerstone drops to 8-2 overall and 0-1 in the WHAC.  Cornerstone will return to action on Saturday when they host Concordia at 11:30 a.m.
