After Kyle Breckan's stellar performance last week, Breckan was tabbed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.  The announcement was made by the NAIA, Tuesday, that Breckan has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week.

Cornerstone men's soccer goalkeeper has been strong in between the pipes for the Golden Eagles, posting two shutouts last week against Aquinas and UNOH.  Kyle is 34th in the NAIA in goals against average (.94).  Behind Breckan, Cornerstone is now 7-2-1 overall and 4-0 in the conference.  Tuesday night, the men's soccer team left Siena Heights coming out with the 1-0 win.  The net minder now has three shutouts in a row for Cornerstone.

The Golden Eagles will take to the pitch on Saturday evening when they host UM-Dearborn.  Kickoff for the match is set for 7 p.m.
